Hey, if anyone has ever heard of a 3D audio game called technoshock, but hasn't downloaded it yet, please do so. It's website is www.tiflicomp.ru/games/ts/dln.php. You'll find both the game and an update pack. Please download both!

Actually I think that site is down. That game has actually been around for a good two years or so. When it was released it was only in alpha or beta phase, but the lack of an updates would seem to indicate that the game's been discontinued.

No, but I lost interest in the game a good two years ago. It had a great deal of potential but on the down side it's got an extremely high frustration factor. Even the easy difficulty setting is probably closer to the medium or even hard settings in other games. It's also got an extremely nasty learning curve.

I just got stuck on the first level, there is a mosquito and I cannot kill it as mosquito sprays are not available there!
I played that game about a year ago, couldn't get the nightscope to work probably have to find batteries or something, may give it another look.
That and the batteries don't last long at all. TO be honest I hated that game for this very reason. I'm all for more challenge in our games but I think they may have taken it way too far here. As I said the easy difficulty was more along the lines of what I might expect from medium or even hard.
yeh, you've got a point. and as for the acoustical sights, I don't use them a lot anyway.
That's what I was talking about. THe batteries don't last long enough to kill even one enemy. I played that game for a good six months and didn't even pass level 4. I finally just got fed up with it and quit.
I can see why you did that. I've only gotten passed level 1. Might pick it up again, but still...I've played better games than that.
I've beaten it. Your best bet is to use the machine gun in short bursts, or grinades whenever you can. the rocket launcher is also a useful thing, but be careful because it opens a pit in the floor.
the thing I don't like is that the rifle only shoots about six meters, thats about twenty feet. I'm pretty sure rifles can shoot farther than that, I'm pretty sure pistols can shoot farther than that.
Its not impossible to beat that game, I swear its not. The conveyor belts will make you want to put your fist through your screen, and/or find whoever decided to put them in the game, and beat him with his own keyboard.
It's really hard to time the grenade launcher though. At least with Shades of Doom there's a sort of rising pitch sound as your arm swung back to throw a grenade and you could usually judge by that. But I killed myself even more than I got killed in Technoshock because of those grenades.
Technoshock is a man's game all the way! lol. Well I suppose a girl could play it two. she could pretend all the robots are people she's mad at. Actually a guy could do that two. lol
